National Child Safety Audit 2026
Radhey Krishna Legal Aid Foundation (RKLAF) invites passionate students and social work professionals from across India to join its National Child Safety Audit 2026 as Campus Ambassadors, RTI Volunteers, and Social Workers.

Radhey Krishna Legal Aid Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to institutional accountability, constitutional awareness, and pro-bono legal services.
Guided by its motto “With You. For You. Nyaya Tak,” RKLAF works at the intersection of law, policy, and grassroots action to ensure that judicial and statutory safeguards are meaningfully implemented on the ground.
About the Initiative: National Child Safety Audit 2026
In response to repeated safety failures within educational institutions, RKLAF is launching a pan-India socio-legal audit to assess whether schools and related authorities are complying with mandatory child safety norms.
This national exercise will examine adherence to:
- Supreme Court directives on child safety in schools
- POCSO Rules, 2020
- Ministry of Education Safety Guidelines, 2021
The findings will be compiled into a comprehensive National School Safety Index 2026 and submitted to the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).
Positions Open
- Campus Ambassadors (Chapter Heads)
- RTI Volunteers
- Social Workers / Social Audit Volunteers
Number of Positions: 500+ volunteers nationwide
Who Can Apply?
- Students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LL.B., LL.M. programs
- Students or graduates of BSW / MSW or Social Sciences
- Individuals actively engaged in social work
Applicants from any part of India with a strong interest in:
- Administrative Law
- Child Protection & POCSO framework
- Human Rights and ethical fieldwork
A commitment to professionalism, integrity, and non-confrontational conduct is essential.
Roles & Responsibilities
Campus Ambassadors (Chapter Heads)
- Establish and manage an official RKLAF Student Chapter at your university
- Lead local teams and coordinate district-level data collection
- Oversee RTI filing and audit documentation
Tenure: 1 Year
RTI & Social Audit Volunteers
Legal Wing (Law Students):
- Draft and file standardized RTIs to District Education Officers
- Track responses and document compliance or non-compliance
- Assist in legal data consolidation
Social Wing (Social Work / Social Science Students):
- Conduct perception surveys with parents and community stakeholders
- Record ground-level realities relating to child safety infrastructure
Tenure: January 2026 (Winter Batch)
Ethical & Safeguarding Protocol
RKLAF follows a strict “Ethical Firebreak” policy.
This initiative is strictly an administrative and systems audit.
Volunteers must not:
- Interact with minors
- Interview victims or survivors
- Collect or record any identifying information
Any breach of ethical guidelines will result in immediate disqualification.
